Hari Om Tat Sat!

Here at Gaiamara Yoga we like to share what we know. We also like to learn new things. So if you have something interesting to say or a great story you’d like others to hear about then please feel free to tell us!

Everyone has wisdom to impart, be they young or old. Yoga is the art of learning to listen for the wisdom within. It’s just a little bit quieter than the noisy would outside…

Are you living your life or is your life living you? If we disconnect from ourselves we lose connection with everything else.

So how do we reconnect when we’ve lost sight of who we truly are?

When we’ve forgotten to listen to our inner wisdom.

We take it one step at a time.

Begin by reconnecting with your body: move the body, watch the breath, and move the body with the breath. Feel the flow of breath and body together. Inhaling as your extremities move away from your body, exhaling as they move towards it.

The more you practice the more connected the breath and body will feel, and the practice will feel meditative. Your mind will still and you will be able to go deeper.

Now you can begin with journeys, meditation, or just focusing on the breath and watching the thoughts float across the mind without judgement. That stillness of mind will allow your inner voice to be heard.

You will be you again.

We are a part of all that is
